Latest classes, new quilts and ranges

Michelle Yeo's class

Last Saturday’s class with Michelle Yeo was a success. One class member, Dianne is very pleased with her progress on Michelle’s Dahlia design and has let us take a photo to post. You can see it looks stunning.

My latest quilts

‘Melon Slices,’ by Marcia Harmening of Happy Stash Quilts. If you come to the shop you will see the window display featuring Amy Butler fabrics, and many of the wonderful things you can make from Amy Butler patterns and fabrics.

For this next quilt I used a pattern called Queenstown by Zoe Clifton at The Blanket Box, using fabric from the Nesting Place range by Dover Hill. I have quilted it with a flower swirl pattern. Zoe has just published a book With Scraps of Time; 15 Decorative Scrap Fabric Patchwork Projects, which is a really nice book.

New classes

Judy Newman will join us on 28 April to teach the Museum Medallion quilt. Contact me for further information.
